Need a reminder of just how dominant Tiger was? So far this season, Scottie Scheffler has won 29% of his starts and finished in the top 10 in 50%. In an 11 year period from 1999 to 2009, Tiger won 34% of his starts and finished in the top 10 in 77%.

Gotta disagree with Cat on this one. They still play the old, great courses week after week on tour. And the cut each week remains around even par. Half of the best players on earth week after week can’t break par for 2 days. I think the courses are holding up fine.

Jimmy Ellis, a 39yo landman from PA (now FL), showed up at #USAmateur with a recently re-shafted gap wedge shaft that was a half-inch too long (he subbed in a U-wedge) and had to buy balls/gloves from pro shop. At 10 under, he's on way to being first mid-am medalist in 11 years.
