When’s the last time you did something just for fun?

There’s always that moment in a painting where it looks like a total mess. Nothing feels right. You start wondering if you’ve completely lost it. But I’ve learned to keep going anyway. Because the one that feels like failure is usually just the part before things start to click.

My paints are like a dysfunctional family. Red’s loud, blue’s sulking, and yellow just wants attention. But here’s the secret. Pick one color to lead. Let the rest follow. Beginners throw colors together. Masters make them connect. #colors

My favorite scene in Hawaii. Homes climbing up the slopes like little stories stacked on top of each other. A bridge connecting roads. Local shops where people come and go, living their life. #gouache #ohau
