Yesterday Pitt County Schools international teachers discussed influences and solutions in areas of focus and how to collaborate across the district for cultural enrichment. A special thanks to Parents for Public Schools of Pitt Co. for engaging our educators in community conversations!


Congrats to Belvoir Elementary Chevelle Francis named Pitt County Schools February International Teacher of the Month. Ms. Francis’ class demonstrates exemplary engagement and mutual respect, and she is a dedicated leader who coordinated a spectacular Black History Month play for her school! 🇯🇲


This week I got to celebrate Black History Month with Northwest Elementary School and City of Greenville, NC - Government Councilwoman Portia Willis, and attend Belvoir Elementary student performance organized by Pitt County Schools Feb Int’l Teacher of the Month Chevelle Francis!


A giant-sized thank you goes out to Mr. Darian Smith and Optimum for their generous DonorsChoose contribution to our Pitt County Schools International Teachers as they prepare classrooms for our students’ success! We appreciate you for supporting our schools and prioritizing education!

Last week, our Pitt County Schools International Teachers created an extra special Cultural Explosion Event with and for Northwest Elementary School students! The event showcased song and dance from Jamaica, the Philippines, and the USA! 🇯🇲 🇵🇭 🇺🇸


Today, Señora Dariela Turcios arranged a wonderful opportunity for Belvoir Elementary students to participate in a Virtual Exchange with students from Honduras. They were able to compare interests, practice Spanish language skills, and engage in global goodwill! 🇭🇳 🇺🇸
