My first day self-employed has gone like this: Morning: Amazing! I can go to work in my slippers! Afternoon: I have spent 30 minutes getting the cat down from the shed roof. I need to work. Evening: HMRC is mostly made of magic spells and code. How does anyone do this. 😂

Nooo!! Day 3 as a self-employed spinner and I've broken my only flyer! Was obviously glued by a previous owner but still... Huff! Seconds after I lovingly oiled everything too! Got to laugh about these things eh? 😅

Question for all the handspinners - Do you leave freshly plied yarn on the bobbin to rest for a while? If so, how long for and what's the reason? I've heard various reasons and just curious! #Wool #Spinning
