The correct term is 'Ai prompter', not Ai artist. If you type in something, and an image is generated, it's a prompt. Not art.

Long ago artist Mort Meskin would sit down in Joe Simon's studio infront of a blank page and zone out, intimidated by the sheer emptiness of it. It wasn't until Joe or a studio mate would come by, and put a little mark or scribble or some such, and he was back to his old self...

R.i.p Mr. Brian Postman. We are lucky he stopped by for a couple of pieces over the years. He loved the world of comics, and was very proud to see his stuff released in the marvel masterwork editions. Excelsior, et bonum noctem.

Colin Kaepernick has raised $4 million to fund AI comics. He could have used that money to fund dozens of comics by highly skilled POC creators to show he stands behind his words with actions. Instead he’s going to actively steal from them. Sad.

Sequentials for me is not like riding a bike. It's been a big mental push for me. I have to keep it on the forefront or it fades away. I can't do a page a day...those days are over. But the more I do, the clearer the voices get, until their story is finished.
