Remedy Drinks make some fantastic beverages. Today I visited their facility in Dandenong South for a tour, and to launch our Gov's 2022-23 Food and Fibre Export Performance Report. This report solidifies that Victoria is indeed the nation’s premier state for food and fibre.

We're investing $12 million into local biotechnology firm, Aravax, to develop a novel peanut allergy treatment. It's an important step forward in advancing healthcare for Australians with food allergies and introducing life-changing health technology to the world.

I met Paris last week — a young renter in Werribee. Paris has experienced a long history of unstable housing. Now young people like Paris will benefit from new safe and secure Melbourne City Mission (MCM) accommodation, as well as access to the support they need to live their best lives.

We’re tripling our Glasses for Kids program in this Budget. It means vision checks, and free glasses for Victorian kids who need them. We’re saving parents money — and time — along the way.

Gender responsive budgeting recognises that as far as we’ve come, there is still a long way to go in the fight towards equality. And this year, Victoria will become the first jurisdiction in Australia to make gender responsive budgeting law.

We’ve been clear this week. The Commonwealth needs to go back to the drawing board and consult more on international student caps. First step: Jason Clare MP needs to reopen the ESOS inquiry and host more public hearings.
