One of the things I really love about derpibooru is how it is honestly legit social media, at least if you use it that way. I get more real human engagement there than anywhere else. The past few years of my posts, sorted by total comments. Long threads with real discussions!

THAT's the image you're using to shill your AI image gen thing? That is just...so boring. Even by AI image standards. I could have made that in Blender in < 20 mins, when I had been using blender for a month, with no assets other than a public domain NASA photo from 1996. 🤣

I'm starting to wonder if enough people have moved or are moving over to ciel bleu / blauer Himmel that I can finally ditch this place. I also wonder if even referring to the other place obscurely like that will get this tweet buried. Which is part of why I hate it here.

If you're curious, here is how much rigging there is just for the props and set of the dining room from WWBA62 that I had to make, which I spoke of in an earlier post. The bones are also crawling with custom properties that do various things.

I was trying to ease an expression to soften it and I accidentally doubled it. The results were too good not to render out just to see. 🤣 (Included the actual expression I was going for, for reference)

I don't hate G5. The characters are fun, and all those involved in actually making it did well given the constraints they had to work under. What I hate is how corporate fuckery stopped it living up to a fraction of its potential. Can we please just let artists do their thing?

Phew. Almost ready to release this page. Though it is maddening to have spend so many hours on poses and have NO SINGLES. XD
