If we’re not careful, at some point, sobriety can stop feeling like relief and can start feeling like a performance.

If you are restless, irritable, or discontent, it means you are living life in a way that does not serve you. Your soul is pissed off. Change is needed. Those feelings do not mean something is wrong with you, however.

Solitude is healthy. It means you have conquered the fear of being along. That is a powerful thing.

Quitting these things will change your life too: - Alcohol - People pleasing - Fixing others - Chasing validation - Acting like you know everything

Sobriety can make it possible to remember who you are. Give yourself a chance. Quit alcohol.
