Great gift to celebrate ten years on air at XFM & Radio X.

This time last week I screwed-up and had Radio X's Twitter account suspended. Long story, cut short, I made them think the account was run by a five year old. I'm sure it's not a coincidence, exactly a week on, the music team scheduled blink-182's "What My Age Again?". 👏

25 years ago today I presented my first radio show! I was only 14. I've just celebrated 16 years at Global and signed another contract to stay on air a bit longer! I'm lucky to still be doing something I love. Thank you if you've listened to any of my shows in the last 25 years.

One year ago I woke up and decided I’d quit smoking. I gave the tobacco, papers, filters and lighters away. I still miss it, I think I always will, because I enjoyed it, but I’m pleased I quit, and today I pat myself on the back for doing so! 🚭

Being in a festival field with your mates watching bands you love is a feeling to be cherished. At Slam Dunk Festival this weekend I saw loads of bands including 𝑰𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐕𝐑𝐊𝐒 & A Day To Remember. And met Cookie Monster! 😂 Thanks to Alex at GALA PR for the invite! 🤘 #SlamDunk

It blew my sons mind today that people all around the world could hear the special Oasis show I was doing on the radio, at the same time he and I were stood in the kitchen listening to the opening link. "Dad! That's you! That's so cool!". A lovely father and son moment! ♥️
