The IACP hosted a "Supporting Growth After a Tragedy" training, developed with edc.org & Bureau of Justice Assistance, at Iowa Department of Public Safety. Participants discussed the impact tragedy has at the individual and agency levels and creating a post-tragedy resilience plan. Questions? Email [email protected].
IACP partnered w/ CMPD News & U.S. Attorney WDNC to deliver the VALOR Officer Resilience Training Program to 100+ people. On 8/26-27, IACP's Global Team gave a road safety exec training in Bogota, Colombia, on traffic safety enforcement based on data-driven evidence. Attendees included 2 reps from each traffic enforcement agency IACP works w/ under Bloomberg Philanthropies in Argentina, Ecuador & Colombia.
On 8/26-27, IACP held a Safe & Efficient Checkpoints Training in Bogotá, Colombia for members of Policía de Colombia, Movilidad Bogotá & Secretaría de Movilidad de Cali. The training, supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, allowed participants to learn effective roadside ops & practice checkpoint exercises.
In Minneapolis, MN, IACP worked w/ Minnesota BCA & U.S. Attorney MN to provide resilience training to over 40 people from 15 state & local agencies. Attendees learned & practiced resilience skills proven to improve professional & personal life. Questions/want to host? Email [email protected].
