Tom Hudock Dan Jackson-Be Patient. Be Kind. Be yourself. Sally J. Saragusa, MBA, MSEd, EdD Yep, this is the basis for our Yr10 students developing their DeLorean projects for the year. Quite challenging for students who don’t (refuse to) engage in the process, but for the majority who do, it results in the most engaged learners I’ve seen💪😊 The DeLorean Project
Rob Steffler Dan Jackson-Be Patient. Be Kind. Be yourself. Sally J. Saragusa, MBA, MSEd, EdD The DeLorean Project It can be scary putting ideas out for others to judge or feeling comfortable jumping in on someone else's idea. Would be hard to ramp up for one year after previous years of being told what to learn. It's not a light switch.
Tom Hudock Dan Jackson-Be Patient. Be Kind. Be yourself. Sally J. Saragusa, MBA, MSEd, EdD The DeLorean Project Absolutely! We’ve also found that it’s quite difficult for young people to articulate interests & passions as a starting point. I’m speaking at a conference on Monday 4 which I wanted to share some student perspectives... check it out fresh off the press😄 youtu.be/sOu3yFY-xcQ
Tom Hudock Dan Jackson-Be Patient. Be Kind. Be yourself. Sally J. Saragusa, MBA, MSEd, EdD The DeLorean Project @heathermalin Yes it is hefty... we use this infographic as a bit of a guide/goal. Jay Shetty has some awesome thoughts around this that we use when passions aren’t obvious. Finally got my hands on a copy of a talk I gave at a Principal’s conference almost 1 yr ago! Tom Hudock Tom Hierck Dan Jackson-Be Patient. Be Kind. Be yourself. Love this opening question: “How can educational leaders disrupt the Education system to the point where it becomes relevant?” youtu.be/mk7iCgcGVJ8
