An odd, loud noise came from the kitchen. Some lights went out. Acrid smoke wafted from a hole in the 12yo dishwasher door. RIP our dishwasher. We finally got a new one. Its door doesn’t squeal. Its top rack stays on the rails. The dishes come out clean. So weird! 🥹
