Folks, if you want to book someone to speak at your event, don’t wait until 4 days before the event. Or lead with a very generous speaking fee & an apology. Anything else says “the person we REALLY wanted backed out & we think you’re desperate.”

Why do people vandalize public schools? Some jokers broke a bunch of windows at my kids’ elementary school, vandalized rooms & bulletin boards, 2x over spring break. The world? Canadian? shortage in glass means those windows will be boarded up for a while.

My kids were scheduled to do an active shooter drill this afternoon. Before that happened, they had an actual "code yellow" incident in the morning because a kid brought an axe to a nearby high school.

My new company has an unlimited vacation policy and after working her for a few months I can say that the policy is awesome because the company actually wants you to use it.
