"Well, don't get too used to receiving compliments." He shakes his head, taking a small step closer to Cheryl as he wraps a strand of her hair around his finger. "Its not the Serpent way."

"Jughead." He huffs out a breath at the sound of his name, rolling his eyes in annoyance. "Jughead doesn't make any rules. If anything he breaks them by allowing so many Northsiders to be involved in Serpent business."

"Jughead and I are fine. That doesn't mean I necessarily agree with everything he does." Sweetpea rolls his shoulders in a shrug before noticing her change in attitude. "I'll believe you care about the Serpents when you proove it."

"If you're gonna be a Serpent you're gonna need something more discreet than a bow and arrow Cheryl." A short laugh parts his lips as he shakes his head.

"Yes but a weapon like a bow and arrow you can't hide as easily from the cops." He purses his lips together in thought for a moment before shrugging his shoulder. "But hey if that's your 'weapon of choice' then so be it."
