It is often considered that the club would have folded over the years had it not been for Faulky’s dedication to keep it going. As well as the thousands of runs he scored, he was a real gentleman and was held in high regard by all who met him.

He was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Cricket Shropshire in 2012 as recognition to his service to cricket. Thank you for the memories, Faulky. Rest easy. #ifbcc
