Our Hornets are making some noise at state. In pole vault, Hattie took 3rd and Kierstyn got 5th. In the Sprint Medley the Avery Head, Reese, Lucero, and Kaitlyn took 7th. In boys Pole Vault, Justin took 1st, Brady 6th, and Eli 8th. Jessica got 1st in discus and 4th in Shot.

More track highlights. In triple jump Ayden got 3rd and Jesus 5th. In the 4x100 relay, Lili, Lucero, Reese, and Kierstyn got 5th . Travis, Shawn, Tanner, and Jesus also got 5th. In the 4x800, Keefer, Hattie, Merina, and Kaitlynn got 7th. Avery Gray got 7th in triple jump.

Tonight, the board recognized Ashton and Carsten. Ashton earned a 30 ACT, and earned a spot on the Distinguished Academic Wall of Fame. Carsten is an All State Basketball player. #gohornets

Congratulations to these upcoming freshmen on their performance yesterday at AAU regionals in Denver. Headed to nationals! Kierstyn 1st place in the 400 @ 1:02.39 Cadence 1st place in the TJ @ 33-7.5 2nd place in the LJ @ 14-9.75 #gohornets

Tonight the board recognized 4 of our students: Nathan for a 34 on his ACT, Justin and Jessica for all state track, and Shawn for all state basketball. Great job all!!! We are proud of you. #gohornets

We had a BBQ for the custodians, maintenance, and IT staff to thank them for all their hard work. An incredible group of people who work their tails off, and don’t get enough love. Thanks Stew for the blessing, and thanks to the local rancher that donated the steaks. #gohornets
