Just wondering how many times in the next few weeks someone will say “today is the first day of the rest of your lives.”

I keep thinking about this argument that “people don’t want to go back to work because they are making more on unemployment.” Today is as good of a day as any to raise the federal minimum wage. People need to be paid their worth, not what someone else values from their business.
