“This framing makes us feel guilty just for existing, when it’s our existence that is at stake, and worth fighting for.” (Misuse of propaganda aside) Interesting piece for PR pros 👇 ⁦Koray Camgöz⁩ ⁦John Brown⁩ ⁦@laurafromaura⁩ newrepublic.com/article/163305…

David Amess did so much to champion the needs of those in fuel poverty and support the work of National Energy Action . Devastated to hear the news and my thoughts are with his family and friends.

Our tribute to Sir David Amess MP "It is devastating that a true public servant like Sir David can be taken from us in such a way. We hope that he is not remembered for this but for all the good he did nationally and locally" Read in full👇: nea.org.uk/news/tribute-t…

GUEST POST: Brilliant stuff from Clare P 🌥 🌻. The value of woods to mental health is £185m. She lifts the lid on the work that went in to calculating this: danslee.co.uk/2021/12/29/gue… #pr #comms #evaluation #cipr

This report is so worth a read. It's fascinating seeing a city considered through the lense of the Doughnut model, and heartening to see woodland creation in there (and recognition fuel poverty too - can't escape my energy roots!).

So many lovely pics of bluebell woods at the moment so I'm sharing my favourite. It was taken by my mum, a blossoming photographer, six months before she passed away. We returned the following May and in the beauty and stillness found reflection, connection, healing. Magic.

Was such a privilege to visit these four worthy schemes. All different, all benefiting nature, climate and people. Looking forward to celebrating their successes next week 🎉
