I've got a glut of flowers at the moment. I've taken to putting them on neglected graves in the local cemetery. I think it's been a long time since young Elizabeth had any flowers. In a sense it feels like simply paying respects to all our ancestors. >>

Mom took these to a charity shop ( specially named for them by her) they refused to take them as they have no safety label - any ideas where she can find d a suitable label - filling flameproof & safety eyes used, all washable.

I’m very aware with the passing of time my years are running out as far as Xmas, as a child I was grateful for an orange and home made paper chain, the shops are full of beautiful things I could only ever dream of,my favourites still appear every year, love a bit of nostalgia 🎄

Easter is traditionally the time folks decide to go out and 'tackle the garden'. (As if that wonderful little piece of nature is an enemy that needs dominating). And Easter is traditionally the time that all wildlife rescues dread, as they are overwelmed by devastated people

Marmaduke 🇺🇦 I'm not very comfortable with the fancy loo roll business either, Marmie; it just tells me that someone's handled the paper my hoom is to apply to her important little places, and neither she nor I finds that particularly hygienic.

I hope my pals are coping with this heat. I for once will be glad to see and feel the rain again.
