Today is the second day of training at StoveTeam's Maestros Comaleros Academy! Today, the teams are set to construct a stove using mud. This process helps them work through the steps and quickly fix any mistakes they make with their first stove.

Each day, families in Central America require a staggering 70 lbs. of firewood to meet their daily cooking needs. Our Ecocina & Justa cookstoves require 50% less firewood than open-fires, giving families back their time and protecting forests from devastating deforestation. 🌱✨

In Nicaragua, our External Supervisor, Yader, braved treacherous roads on his motorbike during a major rain event. ☔ Yader successfully visited several homes to assess the use of their fuel-efficient cookstoves and begin a new set of data collection for stoves in Nicaragua.
