𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯⚡ Our Club and Community officers have been helping to set up bowls sessions for people with Parkinson’s Disease at our Club Hubs across the East, Midlands and South-West, including the group pictured at Exonia Bowls Club.

We are pleased that we can support this bowler with Parkinson's who enjoys the challenge and exercise from a wheelchair. Supporting World Parkinson's Day here at Stamford.

Local Social Prescribing Link Workers, recently met at our club saying: "We were really impressed with the facilities and how accessible it is for all! We look forward to sharing the joy of bowls with the community, particularly those who are socially isolated and less mobile."

Recent donations includes one from the family of the late Arthur Chapman who bowled at the club until he was well into 90s. Now only £350 short of our target we will continue to accept donations towards other equipment to assist the less mobile players, including a hoist.
