Overshadowed by Ryu and Buehler doing what they're doing, there's Clayton Kershaw quietly going about his business at an All-Star clip: he's gone 6+ in all 12 starts, and his ERA (2.85) is 6th in the NL.

I've covered baseball for 22 years, and Tyler Skaggs was one of the best guys I covered. I always enjoyed talking to him, with or without the recorder on. He was a great guy. He will be missed. My heart goes out to all in his family, and his baseball family.

Easily the most special baseball game I will ever witness in my life.
