I lived through Kobe's entire prime. I lived through Bron's entire prime. There is no semblance of a debate. This isn't subjective, it's factual...Bron is very clearly better & Kobe is maybe the most overrated 'big-shot' playoff performer of a generation outside of Pierce.

Love the idea of a mid-table Serie A side. It's perfect. Don't love the idea of a bottom-table Serie A side that bled 58 ⚽️s & won't have possession. He will be emergency defending constantly & not showing any of his actual talents. #USMNT

Nothing inspires coming out of the All-Star break like a fully-rested #Yankees team rolling out an Ian Hamilton, Rico Garcia, & Scott Effross bullpen game.

Boone's teams are consistently the worst-prepared, least fundamental, most mistake-prone (mentally and physically) squads in baseball. The team is a direct reflection of its manager, and allowing this to continue annually is a sham.

Very Ian Kennedy-esque with the ultra low velocity but oddly effective. Wonder if he can get it to work against MLB hitters or he's just a AAAA guy.

It's sad to have the club profile of the #USMNT & still be so bad as a squad. Milan's best player. PSV's No. 9. A Juventus captain. An EPL Best XI + 2 high-level EPL starters. Big-money transfers to Atletico & Leverkusen. A high-ceiling 18-year-old in Banks. Can't beat anyone.

If #Yankees trade Jones in a Diamondbacks deal, I'd just be so done. A package for a star with control? Sure, sell high at his absolute peak.

Giancarlo Stanton all of a sudden has an OPS near .900 in 74 AB. He was unplayable & now is unstoppable. If #Yankees create depth to have the likes of Rice, Grisham, Dominguez, Stanton rotating as playoff bench options, holy s**t.

Incredible defense. Never strikes out. Strong leadoff. 2+ years of control & just 27. Can then easily deal Jones for a star b/c you have Dominguez/Kwan/Judge & Bellinger likely back for OF/1B flex in '26.

⚽️ Most goals: Pepi 🅰️ Most assists: Tillman ⭐️ Best player: Pulisic 💫 Breakout season: Banks 😮 Surprise of the season: Weah 👎 Biggest disappointment: Reyna 💪 Biggest comeback: Balogun

I know he's not, but to make a point...let's say a star was available like Ketel Marte. I'd trade Dominguez for Kwan & I'd deal Jones, Schlittler, + 2-3 for Marte. Kwan Judge Marte Bellinger Stanton Jazz Goldy Rice Volpe

Dylan Cease is not it, man. Going to cost a lot, had a near-5.00 ERA vs. the AL East since 2021 entering this season, & is getting rocked in '25--already 43 XBH in just 21 starts. Also very small sample size, but has been horrific in October & facing a tiny RF & NY lights? No.

Lugo & Schreiber for Jones and get both guys for '26, too. Better than the Kelly/Suarez rentals when this team is so flawed. Get 2 shots at it. Still would rather a younger player with 3-4 years of control, so it's a no for me. But more intriguing than ARI.
