Other celebrities that appeared on the cover of YES! magazine apart from LISA RILEY (BLUE TICK) include Rustie Lee who was the face of the 1994 issue. Fran Fullenwider wrote for this magazine often. Did either Rustie Lee or LISA RILEY (BLUE TICK) meet Fran?

Calibre (2018). Blimey this film is unbearably tense at times. I had to pause it and have a lie down! I like a film in which the lines are blurred between the hero’s and the villains. Superbly acted throughout. What will (writer/director)Matt Palmers next film be? I can’t wait.

Today I watched 1980s Alligator. Pat Peterson played Joey. I thought this must be Tommy Petersons brother who played Josh in ‘V’ but Pats brother is Chris Peterson, another actor. Is Tommy their brother? No mention online of this. They sure all look alike.

A recently posted screenshot from The Most Dangerous Man in the World features an early appearance of Judy Jarvis as a student in a flashback scene. Cy Town is the prolific extra on her left.

Harry Thompson was only 45 when he died but he achieved so much including writing two of the best biographies I’ve ever read. His definitive Peter Cook biography and this marvellous look at Herge which I’ve just finished.

There’s a great commentary from Josephine Botting and Vic Pratt on the blu-ray of The Wrong Box. IMDB has Juliet Mills as mannish woman on train. That’s surely Marianne Stones part. They also have prolific extra Phillip Stewart listed twice. He has a rare speaking part in the film.

I haven’t had a good month, money-wise,at TT so far - I haven’t made the rent yet ( let’s skip over the fact I haven’t had a wage for five years 😆- I know, it’s my bad!) but if you could retweet my online shop I’d be every so grateful! I’ll link it in the comments. Thank you! 🙏🏻

I genuinely think Up Pompeii (the film) is one of the best British comedies ever made. Great production values, cracking theme song, a cast that is so much better than the series, the best hangover scene ever. It’s saucy, silly and very funny.

I’m a bit late to Richard Osman books but I started The Thursday Murder Club today and it’s a bloody delight. Had Victoria Wood ever written a book I imagine it would be like this.

What a thing of beauty this release of Patrick(1978) is from INDICATOR. The extras are incredible and an 80 page book! A great film starring susan penhaligon 〓〓 and Robert Thompson (played several characters in Prisoner) in the title role. I wonder what happened to him.

There’s a brilliant article about Bob Grant on the British Comedy Guide by Graham McCann. So much more than a tears of a clown piece but rather it explores the perils of typecasting and how genuinely hard the acting profession can be. It’s a rather sad piece but important nonetheless.

What a great book this is by @BevVincent . A wonderful celebration of Stephen Kings work that explores his influences and why he’s so darn good. Highly recommended.
