There is no “pass” & fail” on AP Exams. A 3=“qualified.” It means a student has proven capability of doing college coursework in that subject. A 2=“possibly qualified.” It does Not mean failure like the misused phrase “pass rate” implies. For more info: apscore.collegeboard.org/scores/about-a…
