It's been a challenge getting some of FTWW Wales's trustees, staff, and volunteers to tonight's #WelshCharityAwards but their tenacity in trekking across #Wales, mobility scooters 'n' all (with trains / roads not always playing ball) shows why our team is so amazing #proud!

AMAZING NEWS! Diolch yn fawr, WCVA | CGGC for choosing FTWW Wales as 'most influential small organisation in #Wales'! We're delighted, not least as this proves the importance of #WomensHealth & the upcoming NHS Plan. Well done Daring to Dream & CarmsPF, equally fantastic orgs!

Thanks to Emily and Health and Care Research Wales for speaking to me about the Severe Period Pain is Not Normal (SPPINN) Study. A need for better research was highlighted in Wales’ first health plan for women, announced last week - to close the gender health gap. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Fantastic to see the important @sppinnstudy from Dr Robyn Jackowich, funded by our Health Research Grant, on BBC Wales News Our Interim Director, Michael Bowdery said: "we look forward to tracking [the study's] potential for improving the treatment pathways and education."
