15 of 22 ran Personal Records today at the Patrick Henry Invite and 20/22 ran Season Best times. Needless today it was a GREAT day for Spotsy Cross Country with all the individual times and thus the team averages dropping big time! Still lots of potential left in this group!

It's Wednesday evening and another post of how the Spotsy Boys and Girls teams get another W over Courtland, Caroline and Culpeper. BIG improvement from the first time on that course with a lot of course records and even a PR from Tyston J!!!

Another solid showing for the girls team at the "Eight o Four CC Challenge" who finished in 3rd place led by Mary Ross (#7) and PRs from Emery and Lili and a SB from Adeline.

The boys team is really running well right now as 7/10 PRed at the "Eight O Four CC Challenge" and unofficially taking the team WIN! Big runs from all and especially from freshman Greyson Lantz with a new PR and senior Jayden Wallace with a new PR.

🚨Record Run today by Jayden Wallace with his time of 16:16 setting a Spotsylvania High School Record for a 5K at the Eight O Four CC Challenge at Pocahantes State Park.

How about another Win for our boys and girls Cross Country teams over James Monroe, Courtland, and Chancellor?!? It was even more special being on Senior Night. This group of seniors have led our teams to a 13-1 record over the past 2 seasons!

Got to watch this Spotsy Alum, Alison Nelson run a great race in the Big South Championship finishing in 20th place and 3rd on her team with a new PR in a 5K going 18:36 (She also was the 3rd best freshman in the race as well) #SpotsyRunningFamily

Congratulations to Addison and Jayden today. Addison ran a very solid race in her first State XC Meet and Jayden improved 10 seconds and 10 places from his previous year's State Meet result. Overall it was a great day with lots of support from the team!
