A soft patter of rain, or more so, a laugh escaped his lips as he shook his head at the other male’s evidential excitement. It caused his limbs to grow warmer and comforted. The words were buttery smooth and had him aching for more, he hummed, “Like you, my star.”

You’re in a car with a beautiful boy, and you’re trying not to tell him that you love him, and you’re trying to choke down the feeling, and you’re trembling,

A laugh escaped his lips as his eyes glittered like a calm sea, “James, you want me to get her in…” His voice was full of humor and amusement as he crossed his arms over his chest. “With Athena or Aphrodite? She’s better to go with Aphy,” he hummed for a moment.

A snort fell from his lips as he ran a hand through his hair, sea glass eyes looking up at the sky before settling back on James, “I mean, they both aren’t the /greatest/.” After a moment’s pause, “Maybe giving them a friend would change that,” he shrugs his shoulders.

The smile that fell across his features was warm and full of longing for a life he didn’t have anymore- but grateful for the own life he had in eternity: Apollo. Along with all of the charges in his domain, including James himself, “It can,” he whispered, “It really can.”
