Lions defeat Parish Episcopal in match play today at Canyon Creek CC with 6 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie. The team travels to The Woodlands on Monday to play in the John Cooper Invitational at Woodforest GC, the site of the 2019 SPC Tournament.

Sam Clayman '17 and the Princeton Tigers win the Ivy League Championships. Sam finished tied for 3rd overall.

Lions at the SPC Tournament st Woodfirest GC in The Woodlands on Monday and Tuesday. After the 1st round, the standings are: Kinkaid - 313 Trinity Valley - 324 FWCD - 327 St. John's - 329 St. Mark's - 330 John Cooper - 333 EHS - 337 8 additional schools follow. Round 2 is today.

Lions move up a spot in the standings on day 2 and finish in 4th place at the SPC Championships. Romil Mathur is a medalist as he finishes in the top 12 individually.

Lions at SPC North Zone today. A. Monga & M. McKenzie shot 75, J. Thomson shot 79 and L. Johnson shot 71 (tied for lowest in the field). The Lions were edged out by FWCD and TVS despite the team score of 300 being one of SM's very best in recent post-season tournament history.

The Lions have finished round 1 of the SPC Championship Golf Tournament at Pecan Valley GC. SM shot a 299 and are in 2nd place, 8 strokes back of 1st & 3 strokes ahead of 3rd. The top 4 scores (out of 5 golfers) make up the team score. Tomorrow looks to be a competitive round 2!

Lions shoot the same score (299) in both rounds of the SPC Championship and finish 2nd (598) overall behind Kinkaid (577) and in front of Trinity Valley (602), EHS (619), and FWCD (623). L. Johnson, J. Thomson, & M. McKenzie earned All-SPC Honors.
