Chapman beat Powdersville 11-1 tonight in their Class 3A Upper State baseball tournament first-round game. St. Joe’s will play at Chapman at 6:30 tomorrow (Saturday) in their winners’ bracket game.

The SJCS boys golf team shot 329, good for 11th out of 19 teams after Monday’s first round of the Class 3A state tournament at Newberry Country Club.

Bella Stewart and Eva Cifuni were among those honored by the SC Coaches Assoc. of Women's Sports at a Player of the Year Banquet Wednesday in Little Mountain. Bella was recognized as 3A Swimmer of the Year and Eva, who was not present, as 3A Cross Country Runner of the Year.
