Is eating disorder treatment really a priority? Why did the HSE Ireland promise the hub in CHO6 be open at the end of the year when they only put a tender out for the building works in November? Bodywhys #eatingdisorders #mentalhealth irishexaminer.com/news/arid-4077…

It’s a privilege to help. Not a public sector pension right. Don’t go into it unless you intend to help (with every inch of your heart) those who place their trust in you. Rest easy young lady. We, those who understand, are with you as you sleep. Your fight will not be in vain.

Angela Mays The full NMC Hearing makes devastating reading. It is heartbreaking that so many opportunities to provide compassionate care and support to Sally,in her distress, were denied, ignored or missed. The process of MH assessment increased distress & risk.

Leo Forde 💙💚 Mark Smyth Private companies have stringent recruitment processes and can hire and fire as needed if a person doesn't meet the required competencies for the role. The HSE unfortunately retain staff that aren't suitable&hire staff that aren't interested/competent which we all have to endure.

NHS Staff: After an avoidable/catastrophic death don't assume you know what the coroner needs to hear, collude with colleagues or rely on advice of Trust's legal team. It is your responsibility to tell the truth and yours alone justice4sal.org bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/…

This is shocking, not only is this an attack on the women and families in 221+, it is an attack on all the women and families in this country who stand up for themselves when they’ve been harmed or wronged, fighting for what it right. #cervicalcheck @DonnellyStephen HSE Ireland

Great work by Mental Health Reform but it’s astounding that 81 organisations can see where changes in mental health legislation and process can improve patient care & support families but those who can make those changes don’t. Please contact your TD to seek change #WorldMentalHealthDay

1) No doubt a tough & emotive piece for Joe Brolly to write. I'm concerned by his view that it is harmful for children when women share their stories of domestic violence in a public sphere, as a/c Brolly 'there is no protecting them now.' m.independent.ie/sport/gaelic-g…
