A funnel cloud was reported earlier today (Fri 18th July) from Lincolnshire, so as per this message, please report any severe weather today or for the coming weekend via the TORRO website or attach to my thread. Thanx.

This tornado was filmed yesterday afternoon (Sat 19th July) at Eldon (nr Bishop Auckland, Co Durham) where it caused some damage. If you have any further information on this event or any other similar severe weather this weekend, please let TORRO or me know.

Today is the 50th anniversary of the Hampstead Storm of 1975 when just over 170mm of rain was recorded in NW London, most of it in two and a half hours. Lots more information on the attached Met Office fact sheet on this storm.

Fantastic example of a UK dust devil. There were a few others today in both England + Ireland.

This very probable tornado occurred yesterday (Thurs 4th September) close to the A1 and just north of Cromwell in the east of Nottinghamshire. If you have any further details, especially any damage reports, please let me or TORRO know.

This well taken video is of a tornado that occurred near the village of Caragabal in New South Wales, Australia on Wednesday 10th September 2025. You can see in great detail how it interacts with and damages trees in its path. Not often we get this clear a view.

Significant tornado this afternoon (20th October) in the Val-d'Oise region of France. This is just north of Paris.
