Congratulations to FF Bufton for passing his class 2 driving test! This means he can now drive our fire appliance for non-operational duties and training. Next, Max will attend the Emergency Response Driver Training Course in the coming months. Well done, #TeamLU!

11p2 & 11s1 🐶 Rescue - Clee Hill. Ruby🐶 unfortunately had fallen down an old concrete bunker whilst out walking with her owners. Our Crew utilised a triple extension ladder to gain access to the bunker, then carried out the successful rescue of Ruby and her owner. #TeamLU

Yesterday evening, we rescued a beautiful Red-Tailed Hawk named Milly, who had encountered difficulty within a tree. Using a 9m ladder, to carry out the rescue & reunited Milly with her owner. We are pleased to report that Milly was unharmed during the incident. #TeamLU

Thursday, our crew took part in our annual Station Peer Audit, led by SM Scott Bishop The evening involved drills, incident scenarios, and a Q&A session, all monitored and assessed. We’re proud to announce we achieved 100% and received excellent feedback! 📸stock photo

⛄️❄️ First Call of 2025 ❄️⛄️ 22:15, mobilised RTC, Burford, then a second incident—a fire in a commercial premises in Burford. Both resolved safely, though local phone/broadband may be disrupted. Back at 00:45, we prepped for snow, ensuring readiness for more calls! 🚒🔥

Last night our crew had to get a tennis ball 🎾 from the 2nd floor Of the Drill Tower into a traffic cone 🚧 using only momentum! Why? Team building, morale, thinking outside the box, teamwork & trial and error. First attempt = Hole in one ⛳️ 17 pieces of kit used! #TeamLU
