Tomorrow is #TransitEquityDayATL. Propel ATL has some actions for ya'll in addition to riding transit. And at USI, we are continuing cross-sector partnerships to improve health access through transit #S4A in addition to our #micromobility lab co-directed Fei Li

Bus route I grew up on: 33 Briarcliff (RIP) 🏫 Bus route I spent young adulthood riding to work, bars, and dates: 71 Cascade 🤩 Route I ride with my family, to the movies, to get Downtown: 21 Memorial 🚸 What route do you rely on? #TransitEquityDayATL

There is no one single solution to Atlanta’s traffic woes. Rather, a combination of high-quality, accessible, equitable transit, bike lanes, and safe streets will help to make our city an easier place to get around—and a better place to live for all. tinyurl.com/bddxm7ej

With so many recent crashes, especially involving people walking, we need a sense of urgency at state, regional, and local levels to deliver projects that make streets measurably safer #VisionZero decaturish.com/2023/11/decatu…

The scary thing is these are conditions a few blocks away from 2 schools & this is how much space drivers claim when there are no PBLs. We should center protected space especially around the travel of kids Atlanta Department of Transportation ATL Public Schools @AmirForATL

I made it sound easy but it's not easy...it is simple though. If streets are designed so people drive at safe speeds - let's say 25 mph - they are dramatically less likely to kill someone if there is a crash.
