I see a lot of real estate agents taking the DIY approach a bit too far. It's okay to ask for help. It's okay to hire talented people who are skilled in areas you're not. Trying to be great at everything is the surest way to be great at nothing.

Before you put all your eggs in the "search volume" basket... I'm looking at a real estate keyword that Semrush estimates gets 20 searches per month. In another tab, analytics tells me that same keyword has driven more than 3,000 visits from organic search alone.

It's wild how many real estate agents hate their websites because it doesn't bring in any leads. (ps - it doesn't have to be that way.)

I've never understood why the real estate industry thinks it's their job to do this. On social media is bad enough, but via email?? Imagine all those emails getting marked as spam and ruining future deliverability..... 🫠
