1 month of an SLT MSc findings: -lovely students and staff -a more complex and diverse knowledge area than expected (but in a good way!) -organisation is key to keeping up with work load -make connections to fellow students, the bond is invaluable and strong #SLT2B

Started my MSc most interested in Parkinson’s Disease and traumatic brain injury. Interested in seeing how/if this changes throughout these two years. #SLT2B #SLTstudent

Looking forward to next term but before then need to study for 3 exams. Any top study tips? I like watching videos and taking notes as my study method. #slt2b

Current #SLT2B thoughts: 1. I knew very little about head and neck cancers and SLTs work in this area. 2. How do hypermobility spectrum disorders affect voice? I have hEDS and only recently realised it could have an impact on voice in more ways than I initially thought!

Like many others I know, I’m a perfectionist. With years (and this #SLT masters) I have learnt breaks are important. What do you do to unwind? I like to go for dog walks, go climbing, knit or crochet and just spend some quality time with loved ones. #slt2b

Yesterday was my last day at my early years placement. Learned so much and sad to leave! One of the incredible things about SLT is learning about all phases of life. #slt2b
