And there you have it. The biggest issue on voters’ minds is the economy. Every single poll shows that. On that issue, Trump improved his standing in CNN’s poll. His lead on the economy improved from 16 points to 20 points. Harris needed to cut into that and she failed.

If someone calls CNN and says Russia colluded with Trump, the Steele Dossier is true, the Hunter Biden laptop is false, covid came from a wet market, or that Joe Biden is healthy, doesn’t CNN have a sense of responsibility not to promote false information, right?

Every year on 9/11, I watch ESPN's "The Man in the Red Bandana," which tells the story of Welles Crowther, a former college lacrosse player who saved a dozen people in the South tower. If you've never seen this, take 13 minutes and watch it now.

You either don't fact check (like CNN in June) or you fact check both candidates. That didn't happen last night. That's the problem. I prefer the CNN route because fact checks are annoying and waste time, but if you fact check, you better be prepared. ABC's moderators weren't.
