Sorry to hear of the passing of Sammy Johnston a few days ago, aged 58. Sammy played with St. Johnstone, Ayr United, Partick Thistle and Stranraer among others. As always on here we remember our heroes in card or sticker form. Rest in Peace Sammy.

I have been on holiday until yesterday so have been unable to share in the fine tributes to the passing of Jimmy Bone. It is perhaps ironic that Jimmy never appeared on a card with Thistle. I don't have the Hearts stickers he was featured in either. Rest in peace Jimmy.
