Has anyone been running automatic calibration systems to plant canola in an airseeder. Constantly out on the sowing rate which can be costly when seed prices are high. 1.8-2kg rates are hard to maintain with varying seed sizes.

Liquifying urea continues for foliar applications. Manual agitation definitely speeds up the process in the colder periods of the year.

As a cropper I’m so sick of hay stacking. Nearly done. 60-90% Frosted wheat baled and stacked. Frosted canola and barley taken to harvest. #frostedcrops

Cutting and planting deeper to get a better chop on some messy stripper straw. Trying to minimise hairpinning in the trench to get better seed soil contact. Dry sowing is definitely helping the process. #stripdisc

More of this today. Started 13th march with feed crops, and now 50% planted of grain crops. No germinations yet. The levels of risk increasing daily. No rain forecasted. Just keep going. #dry
