This is a must read Vital City article by Anthony Braga. Addressing injustice is vital, but failing to support a mountain of research on how to address violent crime is also malign neglect.

Our new article brings together some new co-authors with very different backgrounds but who share a commitment to careful experimental work, and a belief that progress depends on it. Experimenting in criminology settings has not been a "failure," but instead poorly invested in.
