On the train to London for #3DMedLIVE19, conference for 3D printing in surgery 😁. Huge thanks to Dr. Candice Majewski 💙 for letting me go in her place and reorganising everything. I hope you feel better soon! Train is completely empty... Apparently this is not a normal time to travel?

Half way through my stay at the LVPEI in India, showing our improved materials to surgeons and researchers. Most exciting is that I've been able to sit in on surgeries! What I was least expecting is how fast the surgeons are, need a new cornea put in, that's half an hour :o.

Going to be a little late to 3dbionet as there were cows on the train line! But its OK, we are mooo-ving now (joke credit to Amy Harding) Hoping that we won't miss too much as the talks look fascinating today.

First day back from paternity leave and I put on a shirt for working from home. Child immediately throws up over shirt. I guess this is my welcome to being a working Dad?

First week back in School of Clinical Dentistry | Sheffield, this time as a lecturer! Been made to feel very welcome by everyone. Will be exploring biomaterials, bioelectronics and additive manufacturing. If anyone has advice/anecdotes for academics just starting up I'd be keen to hear it.

In China for a collaborative visit to Nanjing Medical University's Dental Research and Training Hospital alongside Joey Shepherd and Hollie Shaw. Explored the training facilities at Nanjing Medical University today, including VR/haptic station for student dentists. The extensive phantom head rooms, capable of accommodating 120 students, were impressive. Ashley Towers, 5 VR for 140 students, but more to come School of Clinical Dentistry | Sheffield
