Celebrating our students: after Honours with ETS, Lucy Turton (Lucy Turton) was awarded the Rae and Edith Bennett Travelling scholarship so she could take her MSt English 650-1550 at Oxford. She's soon to commence her PhD at St Andrews now! Congrats Lucy!

More student success! In September, Ge (Gigi) Tang will be consulting Anthony Trollope's papers & manuscripts at Oxford & the BL, as well as the Irish famine archive in Strokestown Park Archive, Ireland -- thanks to a Norman Macgeorge scholarship: scholarships.unimelb.edu.au/awards/norman-…

Researchers from Media&Comm and Publishing programs conducted a national survey and found that 40% of Aust kids in long lockdowns used media in their bedrooms and tablet ownership among 7-13yo was almost as high as their ownership of books. Read more here link.springer.com/article/10.100…
