Hands up if you're at the #FIAPAC conference 🙋♀️🙋♀️ We've got a conference stand with some top pro-choice peeps from RoyalCollegeObsGyn, Doctors for Choice UK, my body my life & we'll be selling our Abortion Talk Pro-Choice Pro-Voice tees! Some of our Talkline volunteers are here so come say hi!

Yesterday we published a joint open letter (with Doctors for Choice UK and my body my life) that was sent to The Royal Society of Medicine. We felt that it was important to make this an open letter so that abortion stigma can be discussed publicly. The letter can be read here: 👇abortiontalk.com/news-1/open-le…

Thrilled with the new book cover design from Policy Press with co-editor with Kellie Turtle, Reimagining faith and abortion - a global perspective, coming out in a few months. The book challenges the assumption that people of faith are anti abortion.

Julie & I (Susie) are really grateful to Centre for Qualitative Research, Bath for inviting us to contribute a chapter to this book. The chapter is based on work we did Improving Health developing guidance on planning & supporting Emotionally Demanding Research (that eventually led to establishing this network💛)

Next up is a collaboration with IReSH Scotland on 25th May at 12 noon to discuss self-managed abortion in the UK. Speakers Lesley Hoggart, CRFR Associate Director, @DrCarrieP. 25th May, 12-1pm. Sign-up below👇 eventbrite.co.uk/e/social-conne…
