Good opinion piece out of Philly on the importance of our parks throughout this difficult time and the need to investment. I would contend Mecklenburg County could use a few more "grand" parks to further spread the positive impact these spaces have on our residents.

If nothing else, let this be your takeaway: There’s a big difference b/t teaching CRT & teaching Black history and it’s present-day implications. Idk who needs to hear this but it’s extremely unlikely that your kid’s 5th grade teacher pulls out a lesson on CRT next year, or ever
