Friday May 6 at SoFA, we are celebrating our roots by talking about the soils they grow in. Participants will have the opportunity to bring soil from their homes, gardens and schools. Come learn what makes up your soil's color and texture, and learn what you can do to improve it.

This week at SoFA Pocket Park we are having a Compost Stomp Lindy Hop Workshop Event! A short beginner swing dance lesson will be taught by swing dance teachers Catherine Lowe and Justin Siao. No experience or partner is necessary, just bring a mask and get ready to dance! 💃🏻

We have a big update regarding Micro-Enterprise Home Kitchen Operations, or MEHKO! As a reminder, MEHKO is a program currently being considered in Santa Clara County that would allow residents to apply for a permit to prepare and sell food from their home.

It's #MonkeyAroundDay! Lemurs may not be monkeys, but the red-ruffed lemur pups have no problem "monkeying around"🐵 #DYK both lemurs and monkeys are primates, but lemurs are of a different suborder? Lemurs, unlike monkeys, have a moist nose and rely more on their sense of smell.

🙌 A huge shoutout to our incredible bike partners! Your dedication to our community is truly commendable. By offering FREE on-site bike repairs, you saved countless participants from having to leave the event early due to minor issues like a flat tire or other repair needs.
