A reminder that anti-racism is an active choice and exercise. Don’t just say “BLACK LIVES MATTER” online without doing the work or having conversations. It’s times like this when we notice those around us who continue to see this as an American issue instead of a global one.

Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are.

I want my trans followers to know that I and so many other people around the world see you, respect you and love you for who you are.

#SCOTUS rules that federal employment discrimination laws protect LGBT employees

This a landmark day for LGTBQ people, and we have every reason to celebrate that a conservative-majority SCOTUS has affirmed LGBTQ employment protections. Our work is not done. We have to pass the Equality Act and ensure all forms of anti-LGBTQ discrimination are banned.

Today, 24 June, is the 42nd anniversary of the very first Mardi Gras Parade. Peter de Waal was there in 1978. This is his special video message for today.
