1st day on the Wall! 4 hour trek to get break us in! Up and down lots of steps in between watchtowers! Trust me to slip over on the way down, only hurt my wrist a little so carried on and now it’s fine! Ready for day 2 tomorrow!

So day 3 was probably tougher than day 2 as today was a lot more up and downs, steep slopes and stairs. Didn’t get many pics as spent most the day holding on the edge but have got a few of my new trekking buddies!... facebook.com/598175620/post…

Few photos from Saturday when we went to the Temple of Heaven, then for some traditional tea, Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden City.

Saturday we did Beijing Olympic Stadium 🏟 and then the bullet train to Xi’an.

Saturday we did the Terracotta factory where they should us how they would make the Terracotta Army, then to a 6000 year old village before visiting the summer palace and the hot springs.

To finish off the day we went to see the Terracotta Army! It’s crazy how a farmer digging for a well managed to stumble across these amazing warriors!

Today we explored Xi’an by visiting the Big Goose Pagoda and Buddhist temples. Followed by the Bell and Drum Tower and finally the city wall. 🏯⛩
