I really don’t get why they couldn’t give the title to McIntyre. Cody is about to go film Street Fighter, no? And even that aside, he already had a year long title run pretty recently. He doesn’t need another long reign. #Wrestlepalooza

The main event felt very weird. The early CTE scare from Cody played no additional role in the match. Then the referee no sells Drew’s hurt leg and just lets Cody hit the move for the win. Very babyface way of losing for a heel.

This is the first WWE PPV this year where it has left me kind of irritated and annoyed. Sponsors constantly thrown in your face, ADs, stupid booking decisions. I hope no sane American is paying $30 for a streaming service solely for the WWE product. Generous 4.5/10.

Overall, #Wrestlepalooza was pretty mid. Stephanie/Iyo was match of the night IMO, and while I personally wasn’t a fan of the mixed tag, it wasn’t bad. The rest? Eh… Cody/Drew was predictable, and Cena/Lesnar was horrendous. Starting with that match ruined the vibes ngl…

He hasn’t been good since 2023, but y’all were still too busy sipping the Kool Aid at that time. He’s only gotten worse over time though, and TKO isn’t helping matters. (And before anyone says it, 2024 was god awful too, aside from some of the Mania build and Punk/Drew feud)

Not excited for this in the slightest because, while I know the match will be awesome, I can’t be too thrilled when I know the outcome is just “CODY WINS LOL”
