Last night we celebrated Paul McCann's 10th year with the choir. Paul is one of our brilliant Baritone section and has contributed to the choir in an immeasurable way. Keep up the great work Macca. Here's to another 10 years!

After last night's Messiah we were delighted and honoured that the father of the choir, John Redfearn agreed to be our Vice President. Thank you John for your dedicated years of service.

After last night's Messiah, it gave us great joy to make the wonderful Peter Hatton an Honorary Life Member of the choir. Peter is the loveliest of people with an absolutely beautiful voice.

At last night’s AGM we were delighted to welcome Vicki from Different Strokes - Stroke Support UK and to hear from her about the incredible work this relatively new charity is doing to raise awareness of strokes in younger people. We are proud to support them for the coming year as our chosen charity.

This year sees a very special celebration of 60 consecutive performances of Handel’s ‘Messiah’ by Saddleworth MVC and Ladies Chorus. So today we’re beginning our 60 day countdown to this year’s performance which will be on Saturday 21st December at Uppermill Civic Hall.
