This month & beyond, as we celebrate Black History Month, we’re committed to providing opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of the rich culture, heritage & contributions of Black Canadians – past & present – who’ve helped shape our country & continue to do so.

On Feb. 16, 2021, all buses are cancelled & school buildings are closed to students due to inclement weather conditions. Learning will continue at home through remote, synchronous instruction, where possible.

This year, there are significant days that fall on the weekend or during the deferred Spring Break in April. To ensure Peel students and staff continue to participate, learn and deepen their understanding, alternate dates have been identified.

The Peel District School Board recognizes April as Sikh Heritage Month in recognition of the significant contributions of Sikh Canadians and communities throughout the world.

REMINDER: Beginning today, all K-12 students in the In-Person Learning model, including those in Special Education, will learn from home this week. All school buildings will be closed to students during this time. Learning for students in the online model will continue as usual.
